Trend & Ideas Paper "The Shift to AI"

a Corporate Communications Challenge

Assignment:

Writing a trends and ideas paper examining the shift of AI in corporations and how companies are starting to use AI to replace to assist its work.

Approach:

Analyzed industry trends while also searching and identifying examples of how companies are using or replacing jobs with AI. Used reputable sources to write this paper.

Outcome:

Provided statical data points on the careers that are being lost to AI and cited statements from some leaders at these corporations and why they are choosing AI over human workers. From my research, there is no doubt that AI is here to stay and is only going to continue to be integrated into our daily lives.

Culligan Crisis Communication

Assignment:

Created an intensive crisis communication plan from scratch that simulated a data breach that Culligan experienced

Approach:

Our team first needed to assess the situation and the parties the hypothetical data breach would impact. Next, we knew that we needed to ensure customers and stakeholders were up to date on what was going on, and what Culligan is doing to resolve the issue. These messages were distributed through press releases and Culligans own channels.

Outcome:

In a mock crisis situation, my team was able to effectively deal with the data breach and alert the right audiences of what was going on and how we were handling the issue, even during high pressure situations.

Ethics in Practice Analysis Paper

Assignment:

For this assignment we were asked to interview PR professionals and analyze ethical challenges in public relations and applying ethical frameworks to real life scenarios.

Approach:

Interviewed two professionals working in the PR field and to evaluate their experiences using their own ethics in their works, and to get a better idea of how it has helped or not helped in their professional work.

Outcome:

Learned how professionals use their own ethics in their respective fields to guide their work and daily life, and learned how much ethics play a role in the PR field, especially when it comes to trying to build long term trust.

Norwegian Cruiseline Media Plan Campaign

Assignment:

Out reams task was to create a media strategy plan for the Cruise Line, Norwegian. The goal was to gain more media attention and views on Norwegians social media, paid advertisements, and owned media.

Approach:

Our approach was to get people to go from thinking of booking a cruise with Norwegian to actually doing it. We were also very data driven so looking at the demographics of the average cruiser and other cruise metrics helped us put together a solid media plan.

Outcome:

Our team delivered a very well data driven media strategy that gave Norwegian Cruise Line specific recommendations to boost its visibility across social, paid, and owned channels, with the goal of converting interested customers into booked passengers.

FanDuel SportsBook Situation Analysis

Assignment:

My task was to conduct a situational analysis for FanDuel, a leading U.S. sports betting platform. I focused on researching Gen Z’s relationship with sports and sports betting to assess whether the brand should prioritize this demographic as legalization expands nationwide.

Approach:

Interviewed two professionals working in the PR field and to evaluate their experiences using their own ethics in their works, and to get a better idea of how it has helped or not helped in their professional work.

Outcome:

The research showed that while Gen Z’s interest in traditional sports viewership is declining, their engagement with sports betting remains strong—driven more by social connection than financial motivation. These insights informed a pitch deck for FanDuel, where I synthesized and presented the key findings.

Here are some of my favorite social media posts that I have made for the fraternities I was apart of during my time at DePaul. I was the social media chair for both SigmaChi and Alpha Psi Lambda for a few quarters. Above are some of my favorite posts / flyers I designed during my time as an undergraduate
