Current Position

In my current job I do a bit of everything such as press releases, data research, and social copy for a handful of our current clients each week, while also collaborating with our PR creative, and digital teams when needed. One of my favorite aspects of my job is being able to pull together research on competitors and industry trends and help turn it into insights for campaigns for our clients. Agency work has taught me about the importance of networking and being under the wing of a successful senior adviser which has helped me grow a lot as a young professional.

Marketing & PR Intern. Radius Advertising

During my internship at Radius Advertising, I wrote and edited a lot of PR materials such as press released, pitch emails, and media advisories for clients across Northeast Ohio. I also helped develop broadcast and more traditional ad campaigns for regional clients and was even able to sit in on TV and raid spot reviews and was able to offer feedback on scripts before they went into production. During this internship I learned a lot about being quick but effective which has helped me in my professional and personal life.

Idea Grove was one of my first internships where I learned what PR looks like outside of the class. I was able to help build media lists for B2B tech clients and drafted press releases and pitches under imprint deadlines. More than anything, this internship helped me learn how to apply myself on a professional level as this role required me to learn on the go with little help or guidance.

During my time as Dining Operations Assistant, I learned how to communicate and work at a fast peace during high pressure situations. My job was to open and close the restaurant while collaborating with waiters. chefs. and higher management when the restaurant opened. I learned the importance of working as a unit and being able to use communication skills with cowered to get priorities accomplished, as well as providing a welcoming service for customers.

Camp Counselor, Hiram House Camp

In this role. I learned how to lead group of all ages keeping them entertained, safe. and excited to be at camp. My leadership style is more "follow by example," but as a camp counselor, it taught me to sharpen my leadership skills and the interpersonal conflict resolution skills api can only build when group dynamics change in real time. This role taught me how to be a leader at a young age and making sure to prioritize the campers first while also keeping group actives organized even when there were minor disagreements between campers.
